UPCOMING EVENTS
Annual General Meeting Join us for an engaging and informative afternoon as we welcome our guest speaker, Caleigh McAulay, Registered Dietitian and Health Promotion & Research Manager at Celiac Canada. Caleigh leads national initiatives focused on education, research, and improving quality of life for individuals living with celiac disease. In her talk, she’ll share key insights from Celiac Canada’s State of Celiac Survey, highlighting the current experiences and challenges faced by those living with celiac disease across Canada. She’ll also discuss access to safe gluten-free food in post-secondary settings and beyond, showcase practical tools and resources, and provide updates on national initiatives—plus, she’ll be happy to take your questions. We welcome you to participate in the potluck! Bringing a dish is strongly encouraged but not required (there’s always plenty to go around). Whether homemade or store-bought, sweet or savory—no judgment, as long as it’s gluten-free. Date: April 18th Time: 2:30 PM Location: Riverside United Church, 3191 Riverside Drive, Ottawa This is a free event with no registration required—bring your family and friends! We’ll also have a table with kids’ activities, so little ones are more than welcome. Come connect, learn, and enjoy great food with our community. We hope to see you there! Note, only active members will be able to vote on our Board of Directors. Please be sure to keep your membership up to date, to support Celiac Ottawa as well as enjoy those discounts! For any questions about membership, you can contact Tara at ottawa (dot) celiacs (at) gmail (dot) com.
