The following list includes restaurants suggested by CCA members as being able to provide gluten-free options. Note that this list implies no guarantee by the CCA on gluten-free status or avoidance of cross-contamination so it is very important always to ask your server. Chefs can change, recipes can change, and menus can change. Be sure to double-check. Fryers should be dedicated, new water to boil pasta, etc.
To maximize your safety, we only accept modifications to this list from CCA members, not businesses or individuals who may be following the “fad” gluten-free diet. All East Side Mario's locations (Kanata, Bell's Corners *, Hunt Club, Ogilvie Road, etc.) have gluten-friendly options. All Second Cup and Starbucks locations now have gluten-free baked goods. All Swiss Chalet locations – ask for their allergen menu, as it shows which items contain gluten All Milestones locations (Kanata, Baxter Road, Lansdowne, Sussex Drive) have gluten-free options. At Montana’s Cookhouse locations (Kanata, Merivale, Bank St., Ogilvie, Innes), ask to see the allergen menu, as it shows which dishes contain gluten. All The WORKS locations (Westboro, the Glebe, Kanata, Orleans, Rockcliffe, Barrhaven, etc.) – gluten-free burgers, buns and many toppings. For pizza, the chains Colonnade Pizza, Domino's, Gabriel’s, Pizza Pizza, Topper’s, all offer gluten-free pizza. However, be aware of the strong possibility of cross-contamination.
