Check out the list here: www.celiac.ca/news-events/events Most recent events of the Ottawa Chapter: Celiac Ottawa Gluten-Free Exhibitor Fair Sunday, September 29, 2024 11am-4pm **Glebe Community Centre (175 Third Ave., Ottawa)** Discover gluten-free businesses and products in one convenient location. Entry is free but advanced tickets are recommended as you might otherwise have to wait in line. Celiac Ottawa members get early access between 11am and noon (with advance ticket reservation). Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable gluten free food donation for the Ottawa Food Bank. We hosted a photo-op for International Celiac Disease Awareness Day in May, and supported a Celiac Canada breakfast on Parliament Hill, with Members of Parliament and Senators, for them to learn more about celiac disease and the gluten-free diet. Spring Potluck and Annual General Meeting Saturday, April 6, 2024 - 2:30 PM 3191 Riverside Drive No RSVP or registration or fee - bring your family and friends, all welcome! What's on the agenda, you ask? Well, besides the important business matters, we're spicing things up with a delightful potluck and door prizes from our friends at Beansprout! We will also be joined by special guest speaker Roberta Kramchynsky for a discussion on ongoing Government Advocacy and Public Relations efforts. So, bring your favorite dish and let's feast while we discuss all the exciting things in store for our community. Chapter president Mark Johnson will also speak about the Gluten-Free Certification Program and how it can help you in the grocery aisle. We’ll also invite you to share any tips and tricks you have!
